Galuwen, the she-elf from Mirkwood, awoke from her bed screaming. Her eyes that of pure horror. Without another thought, she leaped from bed and ran towards Princess Linwelos' bed chamber. Linwelos is Legoles' sister and the kings only daughter. Galuwen and Linwelos have been friends since they where small. The king used to laugh as he's said find Galuwen and you'd find my daughter. The door to Linwelos' room flew open as Galuwen ran inside. "Linwelos!" She called. To her fright, the princess was gone. Only a large burn mark lay where Linwelos should be. Sitting on the floor next to the bed was a small Hobbit. His hands where coving his face to hide the tears. "Todd?" Galuwen said as she thought she recognized her friend. O.O.C It's a rescue mission

::Indeed Princess Laurëindil had been resting soundly after having returned from representing her father's realm at a function held by one of the allies of Mirkwood and returning earlier that evening. The trip having taken a lot out of her so she would retire early that evening. Dressed in a sheer layered lavender fitted gown made of chiton that would hug the slender curves of her elven frame like silk. Her long sunkissed tresses free around her back and face some haloed out upon the pillows her head rested upon. Resting upon her right side with one hand beneath the pillows her head lay upon the other along the pillow beside her neck as some of her fingers brushed against the smooth skin of her neck. The soft blankets and comforters upon her bed pulled up over her as she would rest peacefully and soundly as she hardly moved save for her chest rising and falling with each breath taken in her slumber.
It would have been almost a good 4 hours since she'd fallen into slumber when little to her awareness a figure would appear upon the landing outside on the balcony and part the curtains that fluttered in the night breeze and stalk towards her bed. Grinning from ear to ear as the figure stood right alongside her bed and would clamp a hand over her nose and lips effectively silencing her as all that would be heard against his hand would be muffled shouts as the figure would overpower her in her fright in the half awakened state she was in. Beginning to writhe back and forth as her hands reached for one of the handles of her longknives which was just beyond her reach she would try to inch closer to grasp its handle and use it to free herself from her attacker. Her ageless crystal orbs wide with panic until in a tongue she didn't recognize the figure would mutter some words and instantly both would vanish. But to where that is what she didn't know. Where she was or who this individual was that had just abducted her from her home for no apparent reason. All that would remain would be the mark upon her bed where it would look like a searing fire had occured blackening the sheets and the longknife she so desperately reached for fallen over onto its side upon the floor alongside her bed would be all that was left::
(there's a long story as to why I had to change characters for this and most depending on their age wouldn't understand what it is and such)

Still in shock, Galuwen caught something reflecting the light upon the floor. Picking up the handle of a long knife she looked at it as if just feeling the knife could tell her what had happened. "We can not give up. I know she is alive." She said softly.
O.O.C that's ok your doing fine just imagine it as a movie.

Galuwen was still a mix of emotions as her friend spoke. Softy she touch her finger upon the burnt mark. Who would want to take her? She thought. Finally she looked over at the Hobbit. "Being small isn't a curse but a gift. Now go and tell the King he must know. For I have not the heart to bear such news."

::Laurëindil would find herself within a dark enclosure once the individual who had kidnapped her from her own chambers would end up smelling the musty air within the very faintly lit room she was in. Her back pressed up against a cold wall, sunkissed strands in disarray from the amount of struggling against her captors. She remembered what had happened at her Uncles palace within Mirkwood but as far as what occurred upon her arrival there all was foggy. Her erethreal hues looking about the surroundings in which she was being kept in. The touch of heavy shackles upon her slender wrists and ankles keeping her immobile against the stone wall as thick chains would be attatched to a large bolt within the wall which meant using force to snap the chain or get the bolt from the wall would almost be futile. The eerie blue black glow around the shackles on her wrists and ankles meant they'd been enchanted against spell casting keeping her from using any of the spells she knew from escaping that which she was now in. For a brief moment a ray of light spilt through one of the small windows in the stone wall causing her to squint her eyes and adjust to the light as she would see the surroundings outside where she was contained was just as dark as those on the inside. However that light was short lived for dark clouds rolled back over the brightly shining orb in the sky blocking out that which illuminated where she was for a time. A soft sigh escaping her lips until she heard a wicked voice speak up.::
Welcome, fair princess to my home which shall be yours also for eternity... ::The malice and cruel undertones unmistakeable yet she saw not another soul around her and wondered just where this voice came from that she could hear which caused chills to run along her spine as her erethreal hues would fall closed, her head lowered downward for a few moments causing some of those tresses of hers to fall forwards into her face, knowing that when Thranduil would learn of what had transpired it would hit him hard as he saw her as one of his own after all she was family and she was always welcomed with open arms to his realm. And her poor father would be crushed and heartbroken to learn what had occurred to her as well as consumed with anger and rage. Yet she had faith that she would be found in this forsaken place and be reunited with those whom she cared for.::

Roccondil dashed into the room to see what the commotion was. Roccondil was on duty - patrolling the hallways for anything unusual. He had just begun his shift, relieving an ancient elf who had served the king long before Roccondil had been born. Not that Rocco was considered to be young, even by elven standards, but nor was he accounted to be one of the wise.
"What's wro-" Roccondil started to say, but stopped when he saw the scorch marks. "Where is Laurëindil?"

"Gone." Galuwen whispered. "She was taken. I can feel it. As to where or by who Iam unsure. She was strong in magic and in combat. Who ever it was must have been powerful and caught her by surprise." Galuwen thought for a moment realizing that there may be a way to reach the princess. "Iam not as good in magic as she, but she had been teaching me before she was taken. I might be able the locate her. I just have to concentrate. I pray to the valour that this will work. Galuwen placed the long sword upon the mark. Kneeling, she touched her fingers on the blade and softly chanted. "Morwen Veryatúrë Elea i'dolen. Lasto beth n`in tolo dan nan galad." Galuwen repeated the chant. Focused she did not give up hope. "Morwen Veryatúrë Elea i'dolen. Lasto beth n`in tolo dan nan galad. Morwen Veryatúrë Elea i'dolen. Lasto beth n`in tolo dan nan galad."
Spell: dark, daughter of Veryatúrë reveal. Listen to my word, come back to [the] light.

::her gaze reopening as she heard those words being spoken by such a familiar voice as she would say within her mind, hoping that what would go on next wouldn't be picked up on by the individual whom had taken her and also hoping that the voice within her mind wouldn't be a figment of her imagination brought upon by the circumstances she found herself within.:: 'mellon nîn...' ::those erethreal orbs looking about the darkness of the enclosure as the sounds that would be approaching would be enough to frighten even the bravest of souls as the snarls and growls that were heard in the distance would cause ones blood to run cold within their veins. A piercing howl splitting the air as she hoped whatever creature made such sounds wasn't being brought within her direction.
As she would look towards the entrance to the chamber she was in she would hear heavy footfalls stop just upon the other side of the door and the sound of sniffing meeting her ears as if some animal were upon the other side of where she was but those wide yellow green eyes that would peer through the bars upon the door with all the malice and cruelty that lay within those spheres made her question what had gotten her into this mess and what her fate would be with something as menacing as the creature that bore its gaze directly into her. Saying within her mind, hoping that Galuwen would be able to hear her.:: ' Na i Valar, Galuwen.... saesa nin edo sen dôr *by the Valar, Galuwen.... please [get] me out of this place.*

Galuwen kept her consentration as she heard her friends voice seemly out of no where. "Have no fear mellon nin. I will find you. Do you have any idea as to where------" A black ghost like mist came from the wall of the princess' cell. Floating in mid-air for a moment and then quickly flew into Laurëindil's mind. Galuwen scream in pain as there cotection was lost. A whisper entered Galuwen's mind, "Gu kibum kelkum-ish, burzum-ishi. Akha-gum-ish ashi gurum." There is no life in the cold, in the dark. Here in the void only death. Galuwen fell upon the floor unconises.
(sorry for the spelling I was rushed)

Roccondil silently left the room. He gave himself a moment of shock and then ran straight to the Kings chamber. He was not there, of course. He had been having quite the feast last night - complete with the finest wine from Dale - and he was still likely fast asleep.
Sure enough, Rocco found the king in his bedchamber.
"You're highness," said Rocco "It's Laurëindil, she's gone."
