Kira jumped when Wolfgang touched her. "Sorry, Sir," She said shakily. She followed everyone into the infirmary, "Will they be all right?" She asked.

as red and gabriel were locked in battle, (as if time had any relative meaning inside the world of the mind), cerebro was attempring to stop the battle here. he quickly had guessed what was happening.

the power inherit to each side of her bloodline was grounded in passion, the phoenix force was a cosmic entity that sought emotions to define itself, and the wolverine's feral nature always put itself at odds with his human side. here, without red's mind actively governing both parts to her powers, representations of those said sides were dueling for domenace. crocthing down beside the symbol of red he began trying to wake her.

"red, i know its difficult for you right now but you have to wake up," he said quickly, both verbally and using his powers. mutely she came to and blinked in confusion at him. knowing there was no time to be gentle, cerebro pushed ahead. "i need you to take control of yer powers."

red looked at the battleing aspects and went wide-eyed, starting to crawl backwards away like a crab on a beach. she was stopped by when cerebro grabed her wrist.

"i know its frightening, but this battle is not just here, its out side in the real world as well. and out there someone is going to be hurt or killed." a psychic flash interrupted him and he saw an image of red and gabriel fighting, then an image of red preparing to incerniate the young mutant. "red, please! if you dont take control of your powers then gabriel is going to be killed!"

red's fear melted away to leave a face of determination. she stood up and as she did she began to grow until she was the same size as the other two combatants. once she was finished they took notice of her and exchanged a look of confusion. "now red!" cerebro called out, "while they are distracted!"

following his instructions red leaped towards the two, forming the claws that her body created in the real world and tackled them, hitting them as they fell to the "earth". cerebro got another image from outside and saw gabriel take the fireball to the chest. he then saw the aspect of red's mind standing over the "knocked out" parts.

proud, cerebro knew she wasnt finished, "now absorb them into yerself," outstretched hands over them, a blinding light flared out forcing the headmaster to shield his eyes. when the light faded, a normal sized red stood before him. she thanked him for his help, and cerebro pulled out of her mind.

[Spike]

Gabriel sat in the chair watching Red, despite is pain. He saw Cerebro wake up, and knew that he was finished.

[Galuwen]

She still lay motionless upon the table. Her mind still trying to focus.

[cerebro]

cerebro blinked a few times, surprised to find his body not where he left it and his mind still a little fogged but otherwise fine. with a little effort he managed to sit up in the bed that he was laying on and quickly scanned the room. gabriel was sitting across from the room watching him with some concern, he gave the boy a thumbs up sign to let him know everything was fine. he then saw beast hovering over red before noticing that cerebro was awake. the animal visaged mutant walked over to cerebro and began running a medscanner over his head.

"report," cerebro asked horsely.

"everyone is fine considering that a combination of the phoenix and wolverine just tore through our glutious maxi." the beast said in his own style, "however it could have been much worse."

"hows red?"

"in what appears to be deep rem-stage. but i imagine she is reordering her mind after having you forcefully invade her mind. she should be fine."

another voice answered, "thats good to hear, bub." all in the room turned and saw wolverine standing in the doorway, "now can someone tell me who the hell she is and why she was in my mind!"
