"Excellent , now let's get it back to shore." Captain Jack said as he helped Scarlett back in the boat. Pulling the heavy case in they both fell back in exhaustion. Raising up Captian Jack said to Scarlett, "Good thing you didn't tally, love. Look." Scarlett looked inthe watr where she had just been and gasped as she saw at least a dozen hammerhead sharks in the water. Pulling the ores back to shore Captain Jack said "Now we can get out of here and live like royalty."

"Wait!" she cried as she read the runic script adorning the box, "there is a curse on this chest! Death will come on swift wings to any who opne this chest."
She looked at Jack wearily, "This could be a problem!"

"Well then, guess we'll let Anastacia open it." Captian Jack said in a joking manner. "Let's get it back to shore and we'll figure out waht to do then." Another storm was heading in it just appeared from no where Captain Jack and Scarlett barley made it to shore and out of the boat before lightning struck it. "Swift wings indeed, seems holding it is also a hazard." Captain Jack said. Anastacia walked out and saw them heading towards the ship. The winds were strong and the thunder clapped like God's hands. The frog strangling rain fell upon them as they entered the ship. The repairs were finished and they were gonna push off, Captain Jack said "No wait the storm out if not it's suicide."

"Since when has that stopped you before?" Scarlet asked him clearing a space on the table to put the chest on. carefully she removed the last of the sand from the lid with her sleeve and ran to the chest of drawers and removed a piece of paper on which sh equickly sketched a map.
"WE need to get here!" she said suddenly springing from her seat.

Looking at the map, Captain Jack smiled and told his first mate to shove off. "We'll make love, afterall. this is the Black Pearl and only God himself could sink it." He paused and looked over at Anastacia and said "No one is open the chest,love." He went up on deck and said to his first mate, "Set course for the dark mountain."

Scarlet stood over the charts in the cabin, Jack joined her slamming the door and pulling up a chair to the table. where she was holding a candle over the box dripping the wax onto an imprssion in the frame.
"You see this mark." she said pointing with her free hand, "it's heratic, a form of sandsrcipt used by the sarmatian's, we'll know when we're close becasue it'll be everywhere, that and this symbol." she finished and gently blew on the wax to cool it, pulling the wax from the mould and producing a perfectly cast wax impression of a skull, with a raven atop it holding an arrow.
She looked at the silent captain and smiled, this was going to be fun.

"No worries, lov." Captain Jack smiled, "We will be glorious and rich." Captain Jack walked over to the window and looked out. The sea air came in and he breathed deeply. Looking back at Scarlett, he said with a smile, "When this is all over, I will buy a small island and build a small house on it and I'll breathe this air forever."

"Rather you than me!" she cried, "I want to buy a ship and turn my little pile of treasure into a much bigger one, I'm no famer, or for that natter a farmers wife" she folded the charts and stowed them saftly in the cabinet.
The sea air was indeed heady an rich, but she needed to be out in the sea, not simply looking at it.

Captain Jack looked at Scarlett and smiled as he said, "Yes love, I too love the sea, but I didn't mean you as a farmer's wife." Looking at Galuwen he said I have someone else in mind."

She looked from Jack to Galuwen, through the window who was busy with some sails,
He had all the subtlyty of a sledge hammer,
"Have you told her?" she said her eyebrow rasied.

"Men" she mumbeled and rolled her eyes.
She moved with a purpose to the window and checked the direction of the wind. "We should leave on this evenings tide, the winds going to change in the morning and it's mnot going to be good.

"Aye love, my sentiments exactly." Captain Jack said as he got up and ran on deck. "All right you scabborous dogs, look alive and raise the sails! We must catch the wind and head south!" Scarlett followed the good captian on deck and Galuwen walked over to her. She whispered something in her ear and the two disapeared below decks. Curious, Captain Jack followed them.
