What do you think about Peter Jackson not directing the Hobbit?
I think that it really sucks for him, and for us. I hope that they resolve everything soon.
On the otherhand, I would also be concerned that he would have too much power in making the Hobbit and too much money on his hands. Maybe it would be a good thing if we get some fresh blood in the mix?
What do you think?

Ya, or the whole Osgiliath thing, or the lack of the scourging of the shire, or what he did to Saruman.... the list goes on and on.
But still, he is someone who I know has a lot of knowledge about the Lord of the Rings. I am worried that whoever else they get to direct it will have even less reverence for Tolkien's work than Peter Jackson did!
