To the outside world it was just an old warehouse on the outskirts of the Sonoran Desert. Made of old rusty metal. But to those held inside it was hell. Most of the building lay underneath the ground. Making it look smaller then it was. It was called the red house by the ones inside. So much blood covered the once white walls.
Designed and operated for one purpose, for the terrorist organization called Hyrdra to find new ways to create their own super solders. Every since the super serum was used on captain America, Hydra has been trying to recreate it. After failed attempts for so many years they went to new experiments. Kidnapping men and women and forcing them to endure torture every day. They hoped their bodies would adapt and change into something more. Most died within a week, some sooner. Truck loads of bodies would be shipped out just as new people were brought in. But an extreme few were still alive. Some had been there for weeks others years. And for an elite group, The pain was only the beginning.
Blood dripped from the corner of Jessica's mouth as she tried to focus on the overhead light in an otherwise dark room. She was eighteen years old but had been in the red house since she was sixteen, one of the longest. She was strapped to the steel table with what looked like a seat belt. She had five iv's in her as well as needles of some green and red stuff being injected into her. This was her life for three years now. She tried to focus on her time before she was taken. But even those memories were fading as the pain was too much. She focused on what her room looked like as two men in lab coats stuck a needle in her head. Jessica tried to sit up but was slammed back down on the table. She felt a stabling pain in her stomach as she screamed. But what she did not know was that her eyes had changed to an orange color.
The next room carried it's own screams. A women who was used as a human torch everyday. The walls were black and burnt. Stacey's hand was held down on a steel table. She watched as some people in what looked like fire fighter shuts crowed around her. Tears felted her eyes as she pleaded with them. "No not again!" One man held a flame thrower. As another cut into the plasm of her right hand. The scares on her hand shown that this had be done before. She tried to call out for help, but just like before it fell on deaf ears, Stacey shut her eyes tight and hoped for death.
A deep animalistic roar could be heard from down the hall. Some of Hydra's doctors called him the Beast. Others swore he was a demon. If he was a demon, he was man made. His body was injected daily with animal testosterone as he was forced to watch fast moving images of murders. The rage inside him grew as his humanity was slowly slipping. He was covered in chains in hopes to keep him under control. Even Hydra was starting to get scared of him. But it was all worth it when they would unleash their creation onto the world.
Edger Aliff looked down at his clip board making notes about each experiments, and their progress. He wore a lab coat over his black suit and tie. His left eye was all white thanks to his first experiment on himself. That was when he learned to use others first. It was his his lives work. Jealous of all inhuman or mutants with powers. He fought to create man made mutants. But most of all he wished for powers of his own. He wanted to be taken seriously in his work. It snowballed from there until all he craved was power. This hunger drove him to become a doctor of both biology and science. He hoped to used his knowledge to turn himself into a super solder. He later joined Hydra, who gave him the founds to expand his dream. And a place to do it in, the Red house.
