"I told you..." Gabe scolded her. He got up from his seat. "Come on, let's go get you bandaged up."

Karin watched Gabriel get up but quickly shook her head, keeping her seat stubbornly. "No, no, It's all right! I don't need any help; I'll be able to take care of it myself!" She still cradled her hand close to her heart.

"No, it's not like I have anything better to do..." He said. "Or do I have to carry you?" HE said, as he started to tap his foot impaitinetly.

Karin was starting to get upset now, though she didn't want to be. It was just that Gabriel was really getting on her nerves. She stood up and stood her ground giving him her best glare as she could. "I can do it on my own! I don't need anyone's help!" She winced slighly as her injured hand tried to match her other hand and balled itself into a cute little fist.

Gabriel shrugged. "Alright if you think you can do it on your own...go for it." He said, taking his seat on the sofa again.

Karin's expression did a complete turn around as she smiled widely. Thank goodness, someone thought she was strong enough to take care of herself, unlike her own father. Sitting back down next to Gabriel, Karin pulled a ragged looking white scarf, which was stained with dried blood stains, and she quickly wrapped it around her injured hand, however, she was having trouble tying the knot using only one hand.

"Need me to tie it for you? Or can you do that yourself?" Gabe asked, looking at her.

Karin blushed and looked down trying to quickly tie the scarf on, but it kept slipping. She kept trying but it ended in hopelessly, that she was getting frustrated but she would prove could do on her own. She wasn't weak. She didn't want to be seen weak, not in front of her father, and especially not in front of this cute boy. "I'm not weak." She muttered under her breath

"Use your teeth, to hold it and tighten it." Gabe said, nonchalantly. He stretched again, putting his hands behind his head.

Karin blushed again as she heard Gabriel guide her along with his words, and realizing he was right she did it and eventually pulled the scarf securely around her hand. With the newly bandaged hand nestled in her lap she sat back against the couch and looked down at her work. She murmured toward Gabriel then, "Thank you, again."

"No problem." Gabe replied. As he put his hands behind his head the left sleeve on his trench coat slid down a bit, showing a brightly colored pattern going up his arm.

The bright colors had caught the attention of red eyes, and Karin soon forgot about her hand looked over a Gabriel to get a better look. "Is that a tattoo on your arm?" She asked quietly, afraid that she had offended him.

"Yea, got that when I lived in Japan." He said, pulling the rest of his sleeve back. The tattoo was of a Oriental dragon, winding it's way down his arm from his shoulder.

Red eyes were dazzled by the colors. Her good hand tentatively reached up and traced the dragon's pattern up and down his arm. "It's beautiful." she whispered softly, and at the same time her oversized sleeve slipped down her own arm, revealing her own scars. But she didn't notice, Karin was too mesmerized with the dragon.

"Did you take a fall or something? You have scars on your arm." Gabe said, looking at her arm.
