"It's nothing!" Karin said quickly, as she pulled away from Gabriel. She jerked down her sleeves and tightened her grip on the ends and wrapping them around herself, hoping she could disappear this time. "I'm sorry I yelled, but I just don't like talking about it."

Stacey looked at Gabriel when he asked her what her powers are. "It's too complicated. And once you find out, you wished you hadn't."
Walking down the steps she watched as a blur fell in front of her. Lucky Gabriel had caught Karin. "Well most of them," She replied to his question about why the young women was still here.
Finding the professor's office she stood, leaning against a wall. She could feel the emotion coming of Karin, as a crush began to grow for Gabriel. She only gave a small smile as she watched the two talk. Even as Karin got burnt on Gabriel's plasma, she remained still and silent.
Using her telepathy she call out to the professor, letting him know of their arrival.
"Most students here have hidden pasts or secrets they wish not to share." She said as she took a deep breath.

"Ah, I see you found my office with little to no difficulty." Said an older more distinguished voice. "My name is Charles Xavier, welcome. Please sit down." He was followed into the room by a short black girl with short pure white hair. "Aurora, that will be all thank you." He said as he positioned his wheel chair in front of the students. The others turned and left the room. "Stacey I see you found our newest student. Sorry to hear about your last school. Logan has filled me in but he wishes to keep his where a-bouts a secret."
Noticing Karin he replied, "I thought your where going to see your family Karin? Everything is alright I hope."

Karin jumped up as she noticing that Professor Xavior had entered the room. "I'm sorry, professor," She began as she saw his gaze turn to her, "I just talked to my dad, and he said he was going to be out of town on a business, and wouldn't be able to be with me, and the house would be locked and no way for me to get in."
She didn't want to lie to the kind Professor, but she didn't want the other to know what would happen if she went home. Karin would rather be here, than live for even a minute in that hell house, where her father could come at any minute roaring drunk.
"I'm really sorry if I disturbed you professor, may I be excused to go outside now?"
Before anyone even started to say anything else. Karin made her way quickly to the door, and lightly gave a faint wave goodbye to Gabriel.

Gabriel waved her off and turned to the others. "So, did Logan tell me to do anything?"

"Make yourself at home," he replied. "But in his own words." He smiled remembering his friend. "This school is the safest place for you. As well as a chance for you to develop your skills. Meet me in the danger room. But give me an hour. That should give you time to find your room and unpack. Karin is still just down the hall have her show you your room, 516, and the Danger room." Turning his attention to Stacey he said, "It's that time once more see you in the danger room right away." Wheeling his chair passed the young group he nodded and smiled, "Welcome Gabriel." then moved out of the room.

Stacey only nodded a response to her orders. Following the Professor out the door without saying anything.

Karin had started to run as soon as she closed the door to the office. She almost made to the top of the stairs when the Professor's thoughts entered hers, telling her to stop and show Gabriel around and to his room; 516. Knowing she must obey, figuring it was an order and not a request. Karin plopped herself down on the top most step of the main stairs. Through the bars of the railing, she peeked through watching the hallway below.

Gabe came out a few minutes later, and saw her at the top of the stairs. "I take it you got the Professor's message then?" He asked, reaching the top of the stairs.

Karin looked up to see Gabriel standing over her. She quickly turned her head back down, trying to hide the blush in her cheeks. She nodded, stood up and turned toward the hallway. "Come on, your room should be one just across from mine." As she took her first step down the hall, she turned her head back and smiled shyly. "I hope you like it here. Everyone is really nice."

"I'm sure." Gabriel replied, following her. He looked into his room and found that his things had already been delivered up. The room was fairly decent, a bed, armoire and chair in the corner with a light for reading. "Welcome to the Four Seasons..." He said, going in. He turned back to Karin. "Thanks for leading me up." He said to her.

Karin couldn't hold back her blush anymore, as she watched Gabriel enter his room. "...Um, it was no trouble, not at all." Without another word, Karin rushed into her room, and ducked under her bed, pushing back the edge of the comforter. After a few minutes, she gasped happily and pulled herself back out and like a little kitten crawling out from a relaxing dark place.
Clutched against her chest was a large sketch book and a small box filled with pencils and charcoals. Forgetting her previous troubles, she walked to her door and closed it behind her. All the while, humming a soothing melody.
