Garrick looked at her like she just grew a second head and it was Klingon, "I'll be fine Counselor," he said with a half smiling, "And we can meet weekly to go over ship's moral, unless you think it becomes an issue."

She knew what he was doing. Say it once and forget he ever said it. She understood, but would not slack from her duties nun the less. "I will give you a weekly report, Caption."

Vaughan looked over to the side to see who had spoken, and saw the felinoid he had noticed manning the helm earlier. Interesting, he thought to himself. Some sort of enhanced stealth capability -- I didn't even see him leave his station.
"Hello," he said as he nodded in greeting to one of the more unusual acquaintances he was probably going to make during his time in Starfleet. "I'm Lieutenant Vaughan, security officer." He didn't bother extending his hand -- some species took that as a sign of threat, and he didn't want to offend any of his crewmates.

"I am Ta'Sude," the felinoid said, again his voice sounded like a cross between a purr and a musical notes, "Helm and Operations."

"Well then." Sparrow said as he walked close to the ready room door, "I need a cup of something warm." As he headed into the room he looked at Garrick and gave the motion to join him.

Stacey made her way out of the ready room and onto the bridge. She didn't know most of her crew, but had read all of their profiles. Vaughn was the first she'd recognized. "Lieutenant," could you see me in my office. Turning to Ta'sude she then replied, "When you can I'd like to see you as well." Leaving the bridge she boarded the turbo lift. "Deck 22." As the doors opened she walked down the long hallway. Wanting to start her duties right away. Her Office was really her quarters. But the living area was a little bigger then most, with light blue chairs and couches. A small desk was in the corner. Entering she took a look around. This was only the second time she had been her. The second of millions more. This place would be both her home and work space.

Vaughan nodded at the counselor, acknowledging her request to see him in her office later, before turning back to Ta'Sude and saying, "It's a pleasure to meet you. I've never seen a member of your species before -- what quadrant are you from, if you don't mind my asking?"

Ta'Sude smiled, although it looked like more like he was bearing his teeth. "My people are from the Gamma Quadrent."
