This time her voice was softer almost as is she was say the words just so she could hear them. "There was a time I did enjoy the lust for the kill. The passion for the hunt. But now... Now I look at myself as a killer. A munster living off the fuild of others to survive."

"What do you mean pet?" Spike asked puzzeled by her statement. Then it hit him like a ton of bricks. He looked at her and said in half astonishment, half horror, "Now I know why your seeking Angelus, you've got a bloody secret and I figured it out lov. You've got youre bloody soul back don't you?!" Spike then sat down on the back stairs and said "God I need a cigarette!" He looked at her and said "I knew there was something differant about you, I just couldn't put my finger on it especially when you asked about Angelus. I mean, things weren't exactly hunky-dory between the two of you the last time we were all togehter." Standing up Spike said " Well then, guess I'd better go with you to find Angelus and the slayer; come pet this way" Spike took her by the hand and left the alley to go.

"Why are you willing to help me?" She said as they walked hand and hand down the darkned city street. "I thought you wouldn't take it as well. Seeing as how." She stopped. Almost wanting not to bring up their past. "How close we were."
The moonlight caught her red hair making it look like spun gold. As they walked, she realized just how much she liked him. Soul or not. He was her sire.

"Why pet?" Spike asked. "Why? Because there is nothinig that I wouldn't do for you." Spike stopped and turned to look at her and smiled as he said, "Because, I'm more to you than Angelus and I will not allow any thing to harm you."

"Where were you when I got my soul back Spike. Why weren't you around then. Uh? Spike. I have lived many years without you. And then all of a sudden you act like we're back in 1895. And what of Dru. You like a didn't like hidding us from her."
She headed towards the street as she said. "Nice to see you again. But -------" She fell upon the city street as if she had been knocked out my an unseen force. She laid unmoving.
A dark figure begain to come into veiw standing over her.
"Hello daddy." Drusilla said as she stood over the red headed vampire.

"Where have you been pet?" Spike asked as he smiled at his sire. "Good thing you showed up when you did, I swear if I had to keep this sharade up another bloody second, I was gonna have to kill her myself." Walking over to Dru, he kissed her and looked into her eyes and said "Now, what are we gonna do with her."

"Should we tie her up? Play with her a teensy bit first?" Dru said in her child-like voice. Looking down at the falled vampire at her feet she whispered. "Naughty little girl. Gone and got your soul back."

"Sure lov. Tie her up and we'll play for a while, and when our fun's finished, We'll fill her request to meet the slayer." Spike said as the demon face came out of hiding. "Come Dru this way." He led her down the street to his crypt.

Dru looked at everyone with a blank stare. "Angel." She whispered. Still after all these years taken by the fact Angel has a soul. "How could you bring her here?"

"Well Dru, it's not my doing that she's here." Angel said as he moved closer to the red headed vampire who was now starting to come to. "But rest asured now that we are here two things aren't happening. One, she's staying here with us, And you can either stay here and die or you can run for your hides." Angel said as he walked towards Spike exposing his stake.

Buffy looked down at the dazed vampire."Oh well",Buffy said, "those two may have gotten away but there's one right here ripe for the slaying". And with that, Buffy lifted her stake to slay the unwanted company when Angel grabbed her arm to stop her. Buffy looked at Angel questioningly.  |
