Phoenix sat at a courner table watching the young people of Sunnydale. She looked only about in her twenties, how ever she was over centeries old. One of the many perks that come with being a vampire. She took a drink of her vodka, placing the glass on the table. Being able to drink the strongest drinks without feeling a thing was another. But she never enjoyed it. Only the look on the waitess' face when she ordered it. She was dressed in black jeans and tank top, with a long black leather duster overtop. The black made her red hair seem the color of blood. Only a black section of hair framed her face, as a reminder of her true nature.

"To see your smiling face again Spike." She said sarcastically. "You can say, am here on business." Taking another drink of vodka an evil grin crossed her face as she looked at the blonde vampire.

"Always chasing down the slayer, uh Spike. You know the would doesn't revole around the slayer." Her eyes met his for a moment. It was the same look that cought her attention so many years ago. "I, I've changed since your last saw me." She almost stoped herself from saying it.

"Changed huh?" Spike said as he took a drag off his cancer stick. " How so? youre still a bloody vampire aren't you?" Spike asked smugly. He leaned in and said "Besides, take it from a bloke whose done in two of 'em, the rush is almost as great as being sired." Spike crushed out his smoke and got up to go. He turned to Stacey and said "Anyway, when she finds out youre here, and she will, it'll either be you or her." Walking over to her and putting his hand on her face to caress her cheek, he said " Good to see you again lov, hope I see you again." He then turned to go.

Bloody hell!" Spike said in disgust. "What do need that goody two shoes for?" Lightinig another cig, Spike looked at her and said " Don't know lov, last time I saw Angelus he was all cozy with the slayer. She's got him wrapped around her little stake and now he's killing vamps along with her." Smiling at her, he took a drag off his smoke and blew it in her face as he said " If you want to find him, find the slayer and if you want my help, you can friggin' sod off 'cause I ain't crossing the slayer, pet."

"You seem to act like it." She leaned against the wall of the Bronze trying not to rember her past, with him. "The slayer may not have you my the stake, but she has your mind. Spike there is something wrong, very wrong about me. I..." Trying to say it she found herself hesitating. Looking deep with in his eyes. They looked like a sea after a storm. Her thoughts were takin back to the first time she had ever seen him. His long brown hair and cocky grin. A scar on his eyebrow. The way he talked. It had been at a time when Spike and Dru where not getting along. The way he suduced her. Turned her. She quickly staped back to the presant. "Spike, do you rembered the day you sired me?"

"Of course lov, " He said with a cocky grin. "Ancient history isn't it?" He asked in a heated tone. "However if you want to open that scar, It was a eighty years ago and you were so shy. It was too sweet. Me and Dru were on the outs as usual and she went trapsing off with Darla and Angelus leaving me all by me oncies." Sitting on the concrete steps of the Bronze, he pulled out his pack of cigs to find he was out and crumpled the pack and threw it on the ground. "Any way." He continued, "You were walking home from church and had your bible clutched tightly to you breast as you hurried along the streets scared to be out after dark and you were certain you'd be the next victim of the brutal cerial killer roaming the streets that had been in the papers. The media had no idea it was us all along. I remember you went down an alley as a shortcut to your humble home. I stepped out of the shadows and said to you; Are you lost pet? You tried in vain to escape me but I just couldn't kill you. I knew youre pain. It was similar to mine. So I thought I'd share my dark gift with you." Spike looked at her and smiled. "You know, of all the ones I''ve sired, youre the only one I didn't regret. Does that satisfy you pet?" He asked as he got up to go.
