"The more the merrier." Vash replied. "When do we leave?" He asked after a few minutes.

"Very well, Rif," she told him, glad that she had asked him. "Thank you. I for one would be glad to have your help." She was glad Rif was coming along because there was just something about Vash that bothered her a little. He was too eager to help when he didn't know the situation which didn't strike her as right. She didn't like it when help came her way so easily and with so few problems. She didn't really fully trust either one of them yet. She had good instincts about people normally and her instincts were saying not to really trust either one until she knew them better. She trusted very few people, mainly preferring to depend only on herself. 'It was easier. Less chance of being hurt by people that way,' she thought cynically.
(ooc: sorry about the trust issue, guys, but Kalene is very suspicious of people lol)

rif felt something odd when kalene complimented him. something through the force that agreed with his sentiments about this strange other jedi. he also read the fact that she did not fully trust him, even though she fought beside his brother. it filled him with relief that she was suspecious, it proved she was who and what she claimed to be and it gave him a chance to concentrate on the mission and solve the mystery that was vash.
"then its agreed, we three will investigate this new threat from the empire." he said at last, "and i have an idea as to where to go first, but we need to go off-world. and for that we need a ship. i trust kalene that your contacts can help with that score."

"No need, mine is docked nearby." Vash said, taking out a datapad.

"and its being watched by imperial stormtroopers" rif said coldly, a long slender finger stabbing the air in front of him. "so if you wish to spend the rest of your long life in an empire prisoncamp, sure lets go merryly along in yer ship."

"I'll handle it." Vash said getting up. He went over to them, and started talking to them. Kalene and Rif watched. After a few minutes the troopers went off, leaving the ship alone. Vash went back into the cantina and took his seat again. "There." He said. "Ready to go?"

"nice," rif said coldly, "it would help if they didnt have yer ship on record now and every imperial ship in every quadrant looking for a ship that belongs to a known jedi."
his smile dropped, replaced with a face of cold fury. "now that you have made it next to impossible to get out of here with out some kind of ruckus, let people with experience make the plans from here on out."
<ooc--spike im trying to tie our story to the other two people in this rp>

(Ok)
"Rif, I've been around alot longer than you. I can hold my own." He replied. "That woman over there, she's been watching us." He said.

before vash could get up and cause even more trouble, rif was up and in front of him effectively baring his path. when the scarred jedi spoke his voice was quiet but invoked the feeling of two unpolished pieces of marble being grinded together
"first off, sonny boy, you dont know thing one about me outside the few encounters in the recent past. second o seriously doubt that anyone in this tavern as been alive as long as i have since i can recall the days before/i] the old republic with clarity. third, that woman is the lounge singer, it is her job to watch customers and determine if she can persuade them to buy more liquor. fourth, there are things set up on this world, that if you stopped acting and start paying attention, you would be aware of."
rif then leaned in closer to vash, eyes narrowing til they were nothing but black slits,"and if you continue to put our lives and the lives of the people we are trying to save, i will shove my lightsabre in a body opening of my choosing. your reputation of acting recklessly is well earned and i wont have you ruining the work of anyone who died trying to defeat the emperor. and that includes my brother and ben." he resumed his full height, his hand moving to the pouch that held his lightsabre, "i trust i have made myself clear."
rif sat back down and turned his attention back to the much more agreeable kalene, "can your contacts in the allience provide us with what we need to leave tatoonie quietly" with the last word he shot another warning look to vash as if daring him to object.

Vash looked at him with a puzzled look. "I was just saying she was watching us. You brought attention to us." Vash said, pointing to some of the other people in the tavern, who were looking at them.

Kalene got up from the table, "Excuse me for a moment," She said quietly, "I will be right back." She walked over to Xaverri. "We need a ship," she said softly so as not to be overheard, "Can you help us out?" she asked, very softly. She then turned and walked back over to the table and sat back down. "Still fighting, I see," she said, annoyed.

"You have both brought more than enough attention to us with your arguing," She said angrily, "Knock it off, both of you." "You're like a couple of kids, with your fighting." "Rif is right, Vash," she told him, "We can't use your ship."

"Because I for one don't need Imperials following me," she told him angrily, "What I need to do has to be done without drawing attention from anyone." she said just loud enough to be heard by the two other people with her. "Haven't you heard anything Rif said?" she asked him furiously, "They probably have some way of tracking your ship if it should take off," she explained to him. "They are experts at hiding things like that on ships they want to keep an eye on." "That's why we won't be taking your ship," she told him, "Because I for one cannot end up in an Imperial detention center, which, I have a feeling, is what would happen if we left here in your ship." "I have put the word out that we need a ship to get out of here. All we have to do is be a little patient," she told them. "I hope to hear something soon."
