Xaverri heard Kalene's words and waited till she had left before turnning around. She had to act quickly before he left. She knew they would need the fastest ship, just by Kalene's tone. Sliping out of the door. She spotted the smugler headed towards the spaceport.
"Hey," She yelled. Getting his attention quickly.

"my apologies," rif said to kalene, his tone returned to the soft even tone, "its been a long time since ive had anyone other then myself depending on my actions. and i never achieved the deep well of patience that ben and my brother tried to teach me." rif resisted the urge to give vash a final hard look. he could hear the words of master krugarr carefully explaining that anger was the path to the dark side. and rif would be damned to the pit before he would do the emperor's work for him.

"I can understand, Rif," She told him, "I too am not used to people's lives depending on my actions as they do now." "I want no more arguments between you two, please," She told them quietly, hoping to turn attention back away from them, "Or if you have to fight, at least wait until we get off this rock to do so."

"Cute Sonny." She said with a grin. "I need Freebird. You are going to have to put back that other run. We need to get out of here. Unseen. Can you handle it. Your the only one I trust." She did have feelings for him. The sumugler seemed to never miss her show. But she knew that the allence came first. She looked into his eyes as she thought to herself, "Greg Howlett. When this battle is over."

She headed back to the bar. Finding them waiting on her. Walking up to Kalene she whipsered, "We're all set we have a ship."

Kalene didn't have to turn to know that at least one of them was following her. She soon sensed the other one following as well. 'I hope the ship she arranged for will suit,' she thought to herself. 'I have to trust her as I have in the past,' she thought. 'She has never let me down before.'

rif followed the other two out the door after he downed the rest of his drink. finally he thought i will finally prevent those who serve the dark from ruining what my brother stood for.
it had been a long road for rif to get anywhere close to the one who killed his brother, too man side missions and battles that needed fighting. it was only the will of the unknowable force that caused this mission to cross paths with his g'nort, a word that roughly translates to bloodoath. rif resolved that this time he will kill the man responsible and the force help anyone who got in his way. he found it difficult be concerned if vash got in his way, but i prayed that his brothers spirit would keep kalene out of the path that rif doomed himself to walk.

Kalene and the others followed Xaverri to the rundown spaceport and they stopped in front of the strangest looking ship she had ever seen. She walked up to her friend, "Are you sure this thing will even fly?" She asked very softly, and with worry evident in her tone.
