'My queen," Nasar started, "We cannot get into it right now." Looking back, he fired another shot, and killed two more merauders, and grabbed the queen by the arm, "Come my love I must get you to safety!"

She started to resist but the look in his eyes told her to go with him, and she trusted him implicitly so she ran, down from the walls of the city and through the winding passages that warrened their way beneath the citidal.

As they reached the halfway point, he pulled her into a room that was off to the side and sat her down so she could rest. "Now I can explain." He started and he held her hand but before he could speak again, she kissed himand held him tighter than he's ever been held before. She looked him in the eye and smiled. "My love I was given second chance at life as your protector and I will defend you with my dying breath." Nasar Stood up and grabbed her hand and opened the door. "It's safe now my love we will make it to the Nile."
"That's what you think!" The voice of the Queen said as her guards surrounded them. "Surrender and your kingdom will be spared." Holding a spear to Ingwe's throat, Nasar couldn't resist he threw down his sword and the queen's guard siezed them both.

Ingwe found her eyes growing wet with tears he ahd sacrificed so much for her and now it was to no end!
"You foul pretender!" she spat, "I will sign no treaty and you shall never triumph" projecting more confidence than she felt into her shaking voice.

Nasar cursed the Queen and Ingwe was take from his sight. They were taken to the temple's dungeons and were thrown into separate cells. 'My love", Nasar said, "Do not fear for I will get us out of this dismal place." Ingwe heard her lover's reassurance and felt better she knew they would see daylight again.
